Second chance to 'attend' WTE Exchange

A Webinar based on the recent Waste-to-Energy Exchange will offer participants the highlights to the live event, as well as access to speakers.

A comprehensive overview of waste-to-energy will be presented in a 90-minute Webinar—Opportunities and Challenges of Waste-to-Energy—scheduled for Thurs., Dec. 8 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EST.

The event will deliver key insights first shared at the Waste-to-Energy Exchange, held in early November. Presenters from the face-to-face event will be on hand to answer questions during a live Q&A following the broadcast.

Attend and learn more about:

• Solid waste as a source of energy

• Why waste-to-energy technology
promises to eliminate the current value proposition of landfills

• How WTE enables the use of certain nonrecyclable packaging materials for product applications, where environmental gains may be greater than those achieved with recyclable materials

• Current state-of-the-art WTE technologies

• How to broaden WTE availability across the national municipality infrastructure
