PACK EXPO: Dordan to offer Walmart Package Modeling 3.0 tutorials

Dordan Manufacturing will be offering Walmart Package Modeling 3.0 tutorials at Pack Expo 2011, Booth #6007. The Package Modeling software is a research and development tool that allows companies to find potential sustainability improvements in their product packaging. It is a constantly evolving tool and soon will be used to encourage suppliers to reduce greenhouse gas equivalents emitted per CMUM (consumer meaningful unit of measure), according to Dordan.

Dordan first licensed the modeling software in 2010 to better understand how to design packages to achieve better Walmart sustainable packaging scores when compared with previous or existing packaging. Dordan now offers complimentary Package Modeling to clients in hopes that they can aid Walmart in achieving its packaging and GHG reduction goals through informed package design.
