Third Party Review

Pay now for Third-Party Review
A full review costs US$450 per database listing. This fee includes up to three rounds of back-and-forth with the third party reviewer. (Most reviews take one or two rounds. It rarely goes to three.) Greener Package will assign an authorized third-party reviewer to your submission once payment is received below. It usually takes 5 to 7 business days for your item to be reviewed. Please! In the box below, please specify the item being reviewed AND your company name.
Example: Eco-Clean Resin - Progenia Chemical Co.

Did you know?

Most people FAIL the third party review the first time through. That's because they don't take the time to read the guidelines before they submit. It takes about 15 minutes, and will save you days and weeks of delay and aggravation.

Before you submit

In order to prevent packaging suppliers from making either open-ended, overly broad or non-supported packaging sustainability claims, Greener Package has created the industry's first Guidelines to Sustainability Claims to help guide the industry to making responsible and supportable packaging sustainability claims.

To obtain your third party review, follow these steps:

1) Download and read the claims BEFORE submitting data to the site.

2) Submit your data into the database and check "yes" to this question:

3) Return to this page and pay for your review (top). There is a nominal fee of $450 for this review, which simply covers the cost of the reviewer's time. Greener Package takes no cut of this fee and makes no money from it. (Download this explanation to understand why we must charge a fee.)

Benefits to having your data reviewed:

1. Reviewed entries are positioned above non-reviewed entries in the search results, ensuring that reviewed items are always looked at first.

2. Reviewed entries are graphically distinguished with attractive colored backgrounds and a prominent message indicating that the entry has been reviewed by a third party, presenting the data in the most credible light to the user.

3. Reviewed entries are visible within the Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Sustainable Packaging Modeling software from Wal-Mart Stores Inc. technology provider ECRM.

Drawbacks to not having your data reviewed:

1. It will be marked with a prominent disclaimer saying it was NOT reviewed by a third party.

2. It will receive less favorable positioning in search results compared to reviewed listings.

3. The data will not be visible within the Walmart Packaging Scorecard Modeling software.

4. Users can flag your listing as questionable if they feel a claim seems suspect.
