White Castle packaging goes green

white_castle.jpgFinally you can eat sliders without guilt—or at least with less guilt. That's because all White Castles are now served in brown sacks and corrugated boxes made of 100% recycled material. The brown Crave Case also sports the recycle icon. An eco-conscious company for more than 40 years, White Castle also uses LED lighting, recycles 1,200 pounds of plastic every year, and its frozen sandwiches are packaged in recycled cardboard.

Always great news to see such green initiative. Also, changing to a Green inks could be another steps that White Castle could look on.
