T-Mobile phone pack uses 45% less plastic
Tegrant Corp., Alloyd Brands has announced what it says is a new, more sustainable package redesign for the T-Mobile pay-as-you-go phone. Says the company, today’s retail environment demands quick-turnaround, attention-grabbing design and better solutions for the environment, and Alloyd Brands designed and produced the new phone to meet all these requirements.
While improving the shelf presence with the new package, maintaining tamper-resistance, and significantly reducing packaging materials, Alloyd Brands’ designers reconfigured the package using Natralock® blister cards and PET blisters to produce a more environmentally friendly retail package. The effort resulted in a 45% reduction in plastic and a 40% reduction in transport materials, and it increased production rates by 20%.

The use of biodegradable plastics will increase the popularity and value of mobile phones that fall under the green catagory.
I can recommend suitable biodegradable plastics, if required.

Good going T-mobile! All too often we are besieged by products that are over-packaged, from cereal boxes, toiletries to even a take-away yogurt cup. If many company can follow T-mobile's example, we'll be facing a significant decrease in our landfills.
Regards,
Mike
i like it, complete with the new package in the presence of ready-made, tamper-resistant to maintain, and greatly reduced the packaging material, Alloyd brand designers to reconfigure the package.
