According to RockTenn, its advanced Meta-8® corrugated case system is setting a new standard in strength and sustainability. Precisely formed around a mandrel at speeds up to 55 cpm, the Meta case is said to improve efficiency in the production line.

The company’s Meta Wrap-8 version provides efficient accumulating into the proper pack pattern. It forms a tight package around the product, with easy adjustments for varying product sizes and packaging configurations.

A flat blank is said to optimize the supply chain by:
• Reducing transportation costs
• Reducing storage footprint

• Less waste in production
• Improving operating efficiency
• Greater stacking strength

The Meta-8 allows for enhanced graphics and package display, with eight panels; provides a unique appearance; is retail-ready; and offers an overall cost reduction through sustainability, featuring improved fiber utilization and full recyclability.
