Here's a handy list of how much renewable energy each of the 50 states generates, and where they rank relative to other states in their use of renewable energy, courtesy of the U.S. Department of Energy.
To determine whether you are in a state that has higher-than-average renewable energy, simply click the link of the state below, and look at the state rank for non-Hydro Renewable Energy Resources. If the rank is 25 or lower, then it is a state with higher-than-average renewable energy generation.
Please note that the percentage listed is the percent of U.S. renewable energy as a whole, it is not the percent of renewable energy for the state.
