Mike has been at GlaxoSmithKline for the past 10 years working in areas of packaging ideation, innovation, and cost savings. He has developed a number of innovative packages in the oral care and OTC categories and has worked on product launches for the U.S., Europe, and Asia markets. Packaging he has developed has been featured in BusinessWeek Magazine as a Best New Product and in numerous trade publications. He has won a DuPont Award for Packaging Innovation and was featured in Global Cosmetic Industry Magazine “Who’s Who in Personal Care”. He holds 11 United States patents in the area of packaging and devices with 2 additional patents pending.
Currently he focuses on identifying, evaluating, and driving new packaging technologies that support cost savings and sustainability at GSK.
Mike has a BS in Packaging from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
