Container and Pooling Solutions (CAPS) has launched its CAPS One-Way 275-gal liquid corrugated container. The CAPS One-Way was created with the goal of using less corrugated plies than other containers, without sacrificing strength or durability. By reinforcing the container base and sidewalls, CAPS was able to create a corrugated tote that exceeds all ISTA testing requirements, but uses less cardboard, making it more environmentally friendly than previous corrugated totes, the company says.
“The new CAPS One-Way container is ideal for clients who use CAPS’ plastic collapsible IBCs for regular domestic needs, but also need an economical bulk liquid shipping solution for smaller volumes, international shipments, or products with an extended shelf life,” explains Drew Merrill, CAPS’ vice president of business development and strategic planning.
Says Bob Wiedmaier, CAPS’ CEO. “Through our innovation and key design reinforcements, we are able to offer a 100% recyclable corrugated container that uses minimal corrugated material, while providing a product of the exceptional quality customers have come to expect from CAPS.”
