  • Recycled Content use in Food grade packaging and LCAs - Training

I am looking for any training available for 2012 around using recycled content in food packaging. Mainly paper based, but also HDPE and PP. This could be geared towards designing for recyclability, Issues/concerns, coatings used on paperboard and their recyclability or how it affects their recyclability, ect. Let me know if you have any leads for this.

  • Recycled content and or degradable shrink films for fresh produce.

I am looking for anti-fog stretch film for fresh produce applications. I am very interested in any recycled content films, but also interested in degradable films. Would be interested in Bio-based film as long as the feedstocks were from reasonable sources. No PLA please, corn is meant for so many other things than packaging and we just do not need a new use for a subsidized and most likely GMO commodity. We will be doing tray packs with various fresh vegetables. - Thanks - Rhett

  • Recycled Content Polypropolene dairy tubs

I am looking for a packaging supplier that has recycled content Polypropolene tubs available. Needs to have food contact approval. I am aware that Nextlife is offering this product. Is there anyone else that has food approved, recycled content, Polypropolene tubs available. I am not looking for 100% recycled, maybe 25-50%. - Thank You - Rhett Adams - Packaging Technician @ Organic Valley. http://www.organicvalley.coop/
