John Delfausse is Vice President, Global Package Development for Aveda, Clinique and Origins, as well as Chief Environmental Officer for Estee Lauder Corporate Packaging. At Aveda, Mr. Delfausse has been instrumental in the conceptualization and development of many product packaging launches, including the innovative Uruku refillable lipstick made with 90% PCR resins with aluminum accents containing up to 65% PCR content. Aveda was honored with both the Ameristar Award and 3M Integrity Award for the 2006 Earth Month Candle packaging. John was honored in 2008 as one of Packaging Strategies' Most Influentials in Packaging.

Mr. Delfausse’s career spans more than 35 years in the cosmetics industry. John joined the Estee Lauder Companies in 1993 as Vice President Package Development at the Estee Lauder Brand. Prior to joining the Estee Lauder Companies, he served as Director Package Development for The Andrew Jergens Co. from 1991 to 1993. John joined Elizabeth Arden in 1979 as Director of Materials Management, and was promoted in 1983 to Director of Production Planning and Factory Coordination, European Operations, based in London, England.
