Pulp-moulded card/paper products help needed please.
Hi, I am currently leading a project to try and reduce the amount of plastics buried into the ground by the utilities (electricity & gas) when installing their networks. The main part of this is to replace a plastic box with a bio-degradable box manufactured from pulp-moulded paper/cardboard. The plastic box currently used serves no purpose after around 3 to 4 hours of being buried. As a complete novice to the world of using pulp moulded products I need a few pointers! 1. Over what time period will a pulp moulded product degrade when buried in the ground?
