Coated paper manufacturer NewPage Corp.’s EcoPoint™ Plus is a new, high-performance bottle-label paper featuring 10% post-consumer waste recycled fiber. EcoPoint Plus is third-party chain-of-custody certified to the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC), the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI), and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) schemes.
Available in 70, 75, and 80 grams per square meter (gsm) basis weights, EcoPoint Plus features a bright white, high-fidelity print surface for excellent artwork reproduction in offset and gravure printing, NewPage reports. EcoPoint Plus is suitable for high-speed converting and labeling processes and features reverse-side coatings that are engineered for hot-melt adhesives.
