Summary

TransMet metallized and holographic paper and paperboard, without foil and film on it, better appearance than foil laminated and OPP/PET film laminated substrates. metallizing or embossing PET film first, then transfer the metallic layer from the film to the paper and paperboard. The metallized layer is so thin, about 20-30 nanometers thick, one two hundredth of 6.5 micron foil, saving a lot of aluminum source, which could be recyclable and repulpable in normal condition and compostable.
