Colbert Packaging introduces next generation of EnviroGuard

Colbert Packaging’s EnviroGuard™ sustainable plastic clamshell alternative has been reengineered to provide dozens of new material options and combinations that increase design flexibility and deliver sustainability, security, durability, and branding benefits.
EnviroGuard now enables customers to use any combination of solid bleached sulfate paperboard, corrugate, and even small amounts of plastic.
EnviroGuard also offers: flexibility in how the ribbed tray is structured; the option of incorporating other materials into the design; and the ability to integrate flat paperboard on the front or back of the package to customize use of the tray. The new design offers increased rigidity, which adds security, and an improved product-to-package ratio. It also provides a large printable area that improves shelf presentation and brand awareness.
